Mary Deloris Thomas

Mary Deloris Thomas, affectionately known as “Pooh”, was born October 3, 1957, in Taylor County, Georgia, to the late Z.T. and Oline Thomas of Reynolds, Georgia. She was a faithful member of the White Hill Baptist Church of Reynolds, Georgia, where she served as a faithful member of the Senior Choir.

Ms. Thomas was an employee at the Roberta Health and Rehabilitation Center where she worked for over 25 years until her illness.

"Pooh" was an amazing Mother and Grandmother, who always believed in looking out for her village. She was one that loved to travel, whether it was a church event, family trip, or basketball game. She loved her music and her game of Spades.

On June 23, 2023, Mary carned her "heavenly wings." She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Rodney Thomas, and her two brothers, Marvin & Milton Montfort.

Those left to cherish her memory are: two loving sons, Derick (Gathern) Ford and Travis (Yetteva) Ford of Kathleen, Georgia; a close dear friend, Sherry Lee of Warner Robins, Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Thomas; eleven Grandchildren; five Great Grandchil-dren; six siblings, Geraldine Thomas, Rebecca Thom as, Patricia (Steven) Howard, Curtis Thomas, and Edward (Ruby) Thomas, all of Reynolds, Georgia, Benjamin Hicks of Warner Robins, Georgia; five in-laws, Betty Willis, Shirley Willis, Geraldine (Shad) Fields, all of Roberta, Georgia; Clinton Ford of Reynolds, Geor-gia; Gregory (Kim) Medders of Miami, Floria; a very devoted cousin, Betty Braswell of Roberta, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
