Henry Ross, a lifelong resident of Taylor County, Georgia, peacefully transitioned and gained his wings at the age of 78 years old at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia.
Henry, affectionately called "Lil Bruh", was born March 17, 1944, in Reynolds, Georgia to the parentage of Mr. Dennis & Mrs. Effie Mae Ross. He grew up in Taylor County and attended the public-school systems. Henry, a lover of cars and western movies, worked several years for Hill Construction later changed to Robinson Paving.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mr. Dennis and Mrs. Effie Mae Ross; four brothers, Clifford Ross, Willie J. Ross, Calvin Ross, and Roosevelt Ross; two sisters, Gloria Ross and Pearlie M. Ross; and one sister-in-law, Novenia Grable-Ross.
Henry is survived by three sons, Dennis (LaShawn) Ross, Charlie B. (Cheryl) Ross, both of Butler, Georgia, and Quincy M. (Sabrina) Ross of Warner Robins, Georgia; one daughter, Michelle A. Fowler of Butler, Georgia; one stepson, Demetrius Ross of Butler, Georgia; one step- daughter, Felicia Rackley of Atlanta, Georgia; three siblings, Freddie D. Ross of Butler, Georgia, Rhonda A. Ross of Fort Valley, Georgia, and Katrina Ross of Reynolds, Georgia; one Aunt, Ms. Emma Hughes of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one sister-in-law, Ms. Eula P. Ross of Reynolds, Georgia; 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren; two special friends, Maria Rouse and Barbara McCants; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
